Public Domain Images from the Noun Project                                                                                            Picture it, very early 1990’s, …the night is young and you’d like some spanking play.  Or, at the very least, you’d like to see some spanking-themed pictures.  It’s been on your mind all day.  You sit at your desktop computer waiting for the menu to appear.  You select the QMODEM program and wait for it to load. You select The WoodShed from the BBS listings (short for “bulletin board system”) and press Return. 

Home Dungeons - Creating Your Own Play Place

   When looking for a new apartment, most people are focusing on the floor plan, where they can put that new couch, and whether or not the space will accommodate a work party.  However, on my tour, I was looking at the ceiling for places to hang chains and shackles to host not a dinner party, but rather to restrain my sub.   In writing our book, my coauthor and I visited a variety of home dungeons and interviewed those in our community who had constructed their own.  We wrote a little about the concept of a home dungeon, but now that I have created my own, I’ll share what I have learned and how easy it is to convert a small space into a place for pain and pleasure.

Art by Lorenz; Remember to Celebrate on 8/8!   August 8 is recognized as International Consensual Spanking Day.  We hope that you all find a pleasant - or painfully pleasant - way to enjoy the 24th annual celebration of this day!   But what are the origins of this most fitting day?  In our book, Bad Lads, Strict Sirs, and the World of Adult Male Spanking , we noted that “The origins of this date are unknown” (page 258).  Happily, we have now discovered the exact history for International Consensual Spanking Day!  It took some online searching and cross-referencing of multiple links, but here we go…
